...teaching is the art of awakening the natural curiosity of young minds... (Anatole France)

Mag.a. Sarina Kriechbaum, M.A.
I have always been fascinated by language and different cultures. It began
with my many travels as a youth where I was able to experience the lives of
people very different than myself. At the age of sixteen, my family relocated to
Canada where I was introduced to North American culture and the English
language. Having learned English in Austria, I found my skills were lacking
and in need of fine tuning. I felt as though the classes I had taken previously
had given me a strong base of grammar with little practical application of
speech. The benefit, if you see it that way, of full immersion into a language
is that you have very little choice other than learning the language. That is
where my journey truly began on the path of developing the methods which I
employ in my everyday teaching.
